Our Beginning

We were established in 2017 after the death of our sister Loretta Cappiello-Curran at the young age of only 38 years old.

Loretta was diagnosed in 2014 with inflammatory breast cancer, an unusually aggressive form.  After a little more than a year of various chemotherapy and radiation treatments she lost her battle in October 2015.

Our Growth

In Loretta's memory, her family has banded together to create a foundation that provides support services and resources for patients and their families while in treatment or post-treatment. The Loretta Cappiello Curran Breast Cancer Foundation.  We are a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to providing services and support for breast cancer patients and their families in the Hudson Valley region of New York. Services such as rides to doctor appointments or treatments, grocery gift cards, restaurant gift cards, maid/cleaning services, and many others services and supplies.
